Our Mission
Equity & Autonomy
Every human being has the right to live in a healthy environment, regardless of their political or economic circumstances. The environment is not a luxury – it’s a right.
Deep Collaboration
We don’t impose solutions, we design them with people. We believe that each person knows their home better than we do. Veranda works in true partnership with families – we listen, paint, and plant together.
Ecologically Inspired Design
We blend social and ecological needs together seamlessly into solutions which honour the environment and the people interdependent on it.

Qamar
Suzan
I grew up in Gaza, where crisis taught me patience, resilience, and determination—lessons no university can offer. Studying Managment Technology then revealed the power of smart planning, conscious leadership, and understanding people beyond numbers.
This blend of lived experience and professional skill is what led me to co-found Veranda For Green Solutions. I speak the language of people and know how to create spaces where they truly belong—turning a vision into projects that balance efficiency with soul, so Veranda becomes more than a place; it becomes an experience.
It was a long wait for a job that never came. I felt that as a girl in Gaza, I had to create my own opportunities. So, I started with an idea in a creative ideas competition at my university’s incubator. The idea won, and we started from the rooftop of our house with simple tools, a dream, and ambition. From there, “Veranda” was born.
I care about the renewed hope in the eyes of women planting their first plants. I redefine the relationship between people and their rooftops, transforming forgotten spaces into oases that produce beauty, nourishment, and dignity.
