TREE HOUSE IN HAMDOUNA FARM
Project Story
At the entrance of Hamdouna Farm stands a majestic old sycamore tree that captured the imagination of its owner, who dreamed of building a treehouse eco-cafe from entirely recycled materials. This wasn’t merely a construction project-it was the fulfillment of a lifelong vision to transform the farm into an eco-tourism destination rooted in memory and nature. Built from 90% recycled materials, the treehouse became far more than its creators imagined. The tree itself evolved into a symbol of the farm’s identity, attracting locals who came simply to witness the transformation and suggesting expansions for storytelling nights, traditional food tastings, and eco-workshops. Farmer Abu Ra’fat’s emotional connection to the project runs deep: “That tree has been with me for 40 years. Now it holds more than branches, it holds a dream I thought I’d never realize.” The treehouse now serves as a unique eco-cafe that has inspired three other farm owners in the area to explore similar concepts, proving that when we build with love and memory, even recycled materials become sacred.
